Try this unblocker!

It's new and nobody knows about it yet:

It looks like a lot of school administrator type people have been watching our sources, and are blocking new unblockers pretty much as soon as they're released. So all the unblockers we've posted on this site are probably blocked and any new ones we post from that same source will be blocked very quickly as well. For this reason it'd be best if you try to make your own unblocker instead - you can find instructions on how to do this here: How To Make A Proxy

How to get on Twitter in school - Week 42, October 2009

We post a new list of unblockers approximately every week, so subscribe to our feed to stay updated!

Twitter is blocked? As luck would have it, it is possible to work around the school filter and unblock Twitter regardless of that.

Some advice when using an unblocker for Twitter

It's best to use an unblocker that isn't well-known. Unblockers that get used a lot will be found and blocked by the school. Unblockers that you find by searching Google will be blocked quickly because they're so obvious. Even if you find a good one it would be smart to have a backup you can use if it gets blocked.

Numbers in April: Twitter and Facebook Shine, MySpace Stagnates

Facebook’s growth, both in terms of the number of users, as well as visitors, has to slow down one day. Well, it is slowing down now, but it’s still huge given how big Facebook already is. Compete’s numbers for April show that Facebook has grown from 91,000,000 to 104,000,000 unique visitors, a healthy 14.35% increase from March.

Where is MySpace in all this? Stagnating. As you can see in the graph above, the number of unique visitors are slowly dwindling, having fallen a 0.06% in March and 8.61% in a year. It’s hard to pinpoint exactly what MySpace has been doing wrong; I’d say that users have simply outgrown it, and switched to other more innovative social networks like Facebook and Twitter, while they were unable - or unwilling - to change enough to keep up. It’s still a huge social network, but unless they do something radical, I don’t see their numbers going anywhere but down in the following months.

FBI Adds Facebook, YouTube, Twitter Profiles. MySpace Completely Dissed

The FBI is willing to do just about anything when it comes to tracking down bad guys. They did the widgets thing last year. And today they announced that they’ve “set up shop in several social media websites.”

They’ve now got profiles on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube profiles are highlighted. They even have billboards up in Second Life. But nothing is mentioned about MySpace. Except that you can add FBI widgets to “social media websites such as Facebook, MySpace, and Blogger.”

How to Unblock Twitter at School

 A guide on unblocking Twitter

You've found that Twitter is being blocked? The horror! Luckily, there are ways to work around the school filter and get on Twitter anyway.

The easiest way of getting on Twitter at school is by using an unblocker. You can access any site that is blocked this way. There are lists of unblocking sites right at the end of this article.

 How do unblockers work?

An unblocker is like a gateway that work between the computer you're on and the site you're visiting. The unblocker visits the site you want in your place, accesses the page, and forwards it to you. So the site you want to be on only sees the unblocker's IP. So in effect you are visiting sites indirectly. School firewalls think you are just visiting the unblocker, not the real site.

A little advice when using an unblocker for Twitter

It's good to use an unblocker that isn't well-known. Unblockers that get used a lot will be found and blocked by the school. Most unblockers found by searching the internet will be filtered sooner because they're so obvious. Even if you get a good unblocker it's a good idea to have a few others you can use if it gets blocked.

An alternative method of unblocking Twitter at school is by setting up your own unblocker tool. This is more advanced than using an unblocker but it's a lot nicer to have because you're in control. Explaining how to do this is not in this guide, if you search for "How to make your own proxy" you should find help. You can also earn money from letting people use it if you put ads on it.

Other ways to unblock Twitter include by using translator sites, like Google Translate or Babelfish. You can also try using Google's cache version of the site. Unfortunately, you probably won't be able to to log in that way, so it's still best to use an unblocker for Twitter, however these tricks are good for most websites.
